Baked Kale Chips


Kale is packed with nutrition.  These leafy greens are perfect in a smoothie, and a salad.  One of my favorite ways to enjoy kale is making kale chips.  It's a healthy alternative to potato chips and they taste great! Try adding different seasoning to your kale chips like popcorn ranch powder or BBQ seasoning. You can even toss them in a light mix of liquid smoke before you throw them in the oven for a nice deep flavor then when they come out just add some BBQ seasoning to top them off. I do the same to potato fries.


Delicious light snack that takes little time to make.

Ingredients

•  Bundle of kale
•  1 Tbs. olive oil
•  1 tsp. Salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Separate the leaves on the kale from the thick stems. Rip leaves into bite size peaces.
Mix in the olive oil and salt and put in shallow baking pan.
Cook intill leaves start to brown but not burn (10-15 min.).
